Drake, Rihanna and Beyoncé lead BET awards Nominations

Drake leads the list of nominees for the 2016 BET Awards with nine nods. Tying for second place are Beyoncé and Rihanna with five nominations, each. Bryson Tiller, Chris Brown and Future are each up for four awards.

Drake is nominated twice for video of the year with "Hotline Bling" and "Work" with Rihanna. Other nominees for the top prize include Beyonce's "Formation," Kendrick Lamar's "Alright" and rising newcomer Bryson Tiller's "Don't."

Rihanna and Beyoncé are both up for best female R&B/pop artist alongside Adele, Andra Day, and K. Michelle.

The 2016 BET Awards will air live on June 26 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
