1. Portion Control:

Usually, people struggle in their weight loss journey when they do not exactly know from where they should start. Instead of cutting down on food completely and starving yourself, start by limiting your portions and dividing it into four to five meals a day. Starving yourself can help you in short run but it will destroy your health in long run. While on the other hand eating a big portion at once puts pressure on your digestive system. Therefore, once you have command on limiting your diet to smaller portions, it is time to decide what food you should eat at what time. Remember never skip your breakfast it is the most important meal of the day because it gives your metabolism a kick start. In addition to this, divide your serving pate into 3 portions in 1:1:2 ratios. Keep 50% for fruits and vegetables, 25% for carbohydrates and 25% for proteins.

3. Water is your best friend:

You know when you are losing weight H2O is your best friend? Sometimes when we have dehydrated our mental mistakes it with hunger and we end-up talking more food than required. Therefore, it is important to drink plenty of water to avoid unnecessary eating. In addition to this, staying hydrated keeps you energized that helps you have your best workout. Drinking water also helps to wash out toxins from the body that further facilitates weight loss. You can add dinks like green tea and oolong tea in your daily routine as they boost up your metabolism and facilitates weight loss.

4. No late night sleep, No late night Munching:

Less sleep can be a bad news for weight loss. Deprivation of sleep usually causes chronic stress causes an increase in cortisol a stress hormone that increases hunger that means excessive eating and weight gain. Another reason to get proper sleep at night is that you will wake up fresh and lead for a better day.

5. Cheat day is a must:

Keep a cheat day that will help you avoid unnecessary cravings for unhealthy food but try to keep the cheat meal as light as you can in terms of calories.
