Ham is a classic Christmas dish throughout the Caribbean. We looked for a delicious ham recipe that I am confident you will all like.

For this recipe, we strongly suggest using a high-quality, free-range ham. Free-range hams have more fat, moisture, and flavor than conventional hams.

  • Bake ham in preheated oven uncovered for two hours.

  • Remove ham from oven, and brush with glaze. Place the pineapples onto the top of the ham, and secure with toothpicks. Place cherries into the centers of the rings of pineapples, and secure with toothpicks

  • Let the ham rest 15 to 20 minutes before slicing.

To get that really sparkling finish, you'll need to give the glaze a lot of love and maintain coating the ham constantly as it cooks.

You don’t need to stick to this traditional glaze either you can try being adventurous come up with your own glaze.
