Charles Mattocks, Jamaican by heritage, is a film-maker and international healthcare advocate. He is the American Diabetes Association Spokesperson and International Diabetes Federation Blue Ribbon Champion. Mattocks, a victim of type 2 diabetes, said in three years, using control, with diet and exercise reversed his condition. Mattocks is on the island he loves dearly to help all willing Jamaicans to take back their lives from the villain called diabetes. He revealed his latest thrust to Rasmanga, host of Nature’s Table, a production of the Shiftaurant on BESS FM Radio on Saturday September 8, 2013.
On Friday, he sat with Dr Tony Vendryes in the Power 106 FM Studio to share his story with the listeners of An Ounce of Prevention. The handsome Herbalifeweight loss doctor and complimentary & alternative medical specialist was recruited by Mattocks to play the role of himself on “Reversed Caribbean”. The master of creative content, Mattocks has designed the ultimate Diabetes Reality show called “Reversed Caribbean,” wherein 8 persons from within the Caribbean with diabetes will reverse their condition with a 2-week period. The production will take place on the north coast within a wellness resort setting conducive to lifelong transformative change.
