Hall of Fame journalist Clare Forrester died on Monday evening in Florida at the age of 69. Miss Forrester had extensive experience in a range of social communication roles with national, regional and international organisations. She was the Chief Press and Public Relations Officer at the Jamaica Information Service, Director of Communication at the Natural Resources and Conservation Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and General Secretary of the Press Association of Jamaica (PAJ).
In her last role she was a Communication Advisor at Office of the Special Representative of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) on Haiti. She was inducted into the Association’s Hall of Fame in 2012.
