Tonie Chisholm Wins Miss Cayman Islands 2015


Tonie Chisholm was crowned Miss Cayman Islands 2015 on Saturday night during the live competition at the Lions Centre, where 10 contestants competed for the prestigious title.

The 26 year-old will represent the Cayman Islands at the next Miss Universe and Miss World pageants.

First runner up was Adrianna Christian who also won the “Best Gown’ award, while Emily Bodden was second runner up. Emily was also in a three way tie for Miss Congeniality, which was shared by Latrese Haylock and Tonie Chisholm.

Other sectional winners were: People’s Choice Award: Schilo Scott; Miss Photogenic: Stephanie Scott; Best Legs: Mahalia Seymour and Best Smile: Anika Conolly.

In addition to representing Miss Cayman at the Miss Universe and Miss World Pageants next year, Tonie will receive a three-year, $70,000 scholarship to the school of her choice locally or internationally. She also wins a Nissan Leaf for a year and numerous paid travel opportunities and a number of gifts from local businesses.

The runners-up receive $2,500 scholarships each per year for two years and several gifts from local businesses.

Lindsay Japal won the last Miss Cayman Islands back in 2011.
