The story is about a family that moves into the infamous Hill House and how the spirits have an effect on each of them. Every episode is dedicated to one family member, which makes the show stand out. 

However, there is an incident that happens during the childhood of all siblings and one when they are young. Once that happens, each family member grieves in a different way, and the show is all about that. The story moves back and forth between the past and the present.

Violet is about to put an end to her life, and Finch successfully talks her out of it. The two of them form a bond, and it turns out that Violet has had survivor’s guilt of a car crash that killed her sister. 

However, things eventually open further, and Violet learns that Finch is also fighting his own battles and why he prefers to be on his own. Now the question is, will Violet and Finch be able to save each other from their own internal darknesses? You will have to watch the movie to find out! 


13 Reasons Why

Warning, this section might be triggering to some audiences. Imagine how cruel it would be if you lost your friend, who also happened to be someone who you loved more than you would probably love yourself. That is exactly what 13 Reasons Why is about. 


The show is based on the novel of the same name by Jay Asher. It revolves around the story of Hannah Baker, a young and beautiful teenager who was bullied enough to put an end to her life. However, she records and releases a set of 13 tapes that explain why she did what she did, and she holds everyone accountable for it. 


The tapes then eventually come to Clay Jensen, who was a close friend of Hannah’s and also loved her a lot. Thus begins Clay’s journey of figuring out the truth and trying to bring justice to Hannah and Hannah’s family. The show really teaches you how to deal with the passing of a loved one and how you should stop at nothing if you really love someone.

Pieces of a Woman is a movie that came out back in 2020, and it shows the struggles of a woman when a delivery goes bad. The movie stars Vanessa Kirby as Martha and Shia LaBeouf as Sean, and the story is about how they are expecting their first child together.


However, when it is time to deliver the baby, things go horribly wrong.  While trying to give birth at home, things take a wrong turn, and the baby does not survive. 


The movie then shows how everyone deals with the grief of loss and what an impact it has on everyone in the family. The family must figure out how they need to proceed further, whether it is with each other or without.
