Miss Manchester Chereese Ricketts walked away with the title of Miss Jamaica Festival Queen 2015, which was held on Saturday, at the Independence Village, Ranny Williams Centre.
The event was organized by the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) under the national theme, Proud and Free Jamaica 53.

Miss St James, Issia Thelwell, was declared the first runner-up to the Queen and Miss Kingston and St Andrew, Michelle Thomas, her second runner-up. Rounding off the top five were, Kameika Coleman - Miss St Catherine and Abigail Stewart - Miss St Thomas.
Miss St Mary, Lazan Zina Frazer awarded the Best Performer in the sectional awards. Also receiving sectional prizes were Kimberly Morant - Miss Hanover, for Most Congenial; Kameika Coleman - Miss St Catherine, for Most Poised; and Ricketts - Miss Manchester, for Most Active in Community and the Most Culturally Aware.
Guest performer for the event was Duane Stephenson, while Terri-Karelle Reid, who along with Adrian Brown were the host for the night.
