Montego Bay Comes Alive with #BritJam2017 - March 8-15

This is Michael Webster contributor for Caribbean EMagazine. This week I will be highlighting the hottest events that took over the past week in Jamaica, “BritJam 2017”.

The press launch of “arguably” the most hype and attended party not only in Jamaica but the Caribbean at large “Brit Jam” has been concluded a few days ago at the Terra Nova Hotel poolside. The turnout was great and patrons got to enjoy non-stop music.

BritJam Montego Bay will be in swing gear running from March 8-15. This is a “good good production” event with the front man himself “Zumm” leading out proceedings, so you know the music will be enjoyable and well received.

The event kicks off with All Black ‘The Official Welcome Party’ at Pier One on Wednesday, with popular selector Tony Matterhorn and Montego Bay’s finest DJ Kentucky and DJ Crazy Neil.

The party then moves to The Palms at the Palmyra Resort with Cook Out on Thursday, March 9.

‘Watawar’ Dancehall vs Soca on Friday, March 10 at Dump-Up Beach.

Over the weekend the party heats up with an “All White party at Tropical Bliss” on Saturday, March 11, with dancehall artistes Konshens and Bling Dawg, with Yanique, the curvy diva, as host.

On Sunday, March 12. R&B sensation Ginuwine, joins I-Octane and Tifa, for the popular Flesh party to be held at The Palms at the Palmyra.

The Who’s The Boss Boat Party at Pier One will be held on Monday, March 13; and Emergency Wear costume party at Margaritaville and the Playboy lingerie party at Blue Beat Ultra Lounge on Tuesday, March 14 round out the week of activities.

So pack those bags and suitcases very well and get prepared for an experience I assure you will never forget, see you there, I’m Michael Webster for Caribbean EMagazine blessings.
