Nicki Minaj has signed to Wilhelmina’s celebrity division, joining the ranks of other attractive famous people like Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas.
The 34-year-old rapper confirmed the news on Instagram Tuesday (March 28). “Oh yeah that too,” she captioned a photo of the Vogue story. “Honored to be at Wilhelmina.”
The agency also issued a statement Wednesday stating that it will work to further the six-time American Music Award winner’s influence in fashion and beauty.
“She is a style pioneer and an icon,” Wilhelmina CEO Bill Wackermann said.
Minaj said of Wilhelmina in the statement: “They get me,” adding: “I love the synergy between my music and how it inspires my fashion.”
Minaj and Wilhelmina will work together to secure endorsement deals, fashion and beauty campaigns as well as more editorial print opportunities.
