Cocktail Drinks Recipes To Ring In The New Year

Do you plan on inviting a few friends over to ring in the New Year? Here are some easy drinks that you can make to have a night festive.

Grapefruit Gimlet

Grapefruit Gimlet

Yield: 1 serving

Level: Easy


  • 2 ounces freshly squeezed ruby red grapefruit juice

  • 2 ounces gin

  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup


Add the grapefruit juice, gin and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Cover and vigorously shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice. Garnish with a small triangle wedge of grapefruit.

The Manhattan Cocktail

The Manhattan Cocktail

  • 1 1/2 oz. Rye (Rittenhouse 100pf)

  • 1.75 oz Sweet Vermouth

  • .5 oz Grand Marnier

  • 3 dashes Angostura Bitters

  • 1 lemon twist, for garnish.

Add ingredients to a mixing glass. Add ice, stir and strain in a chilled cocktail coupe. Garnish with zest of lemon.

Champagne Cocktail

Prep Time: 3 minutes

Total Time: 3 minutes

Yield: 1 Cocktail


  • 1/4 oz brandy

  • 3/4 oz ruby port

  • 3/4 oz orange juice

  • 4 oz Champagne


  • Pour the brandy, port and orange juice into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

  • Shake well.

  • Strain into a Champagne flute.

  • Top with Champagne.

Cosmopolitan Cocktail

Cosmopolitan Cocktail


  • 1 oz vodka

  • 1/2 oz triple sec

  • 1/2 oz Rose's® lime juice

  • 1/2 oz cranberry juice


Shake vodka, triple sec, lime and cranberry juice vigorously in a shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass, garnish with a lime wedge on the rim, and serve.

  • 4 oz Champagne

  • 1 splash Campari® bitters

  • 1 sugar cube

  • 1 drop Angostura® bitters


Place a drop of angostura bitters on a sugar cube and drop into a champagne flute. Add champagne and splash of campari.

Feel Like Holiday


  • 1 cl vodka

  • 1 cl grenadine syrup

  • 10 cl Champagne


Stir vodka and grenadine with ice. Pour into a champagne-flute without the ice. Fill up with champagne
