Entertainer J Capri has died at the age of 23


Jamaican Entertainer J Capri died early this morning at the UWI in Kingston, Jamaica, she was 23.

She was hospitalized on November 23 following a motor vehicle crash, long Barbican Road in Kingston in which she suffered several broken bones and a serious head injury as well as brain damage.

Reports are that the singer whose real name is Jordan Phillips was travelling in the Barbican area of St Andrew about 3:00 am when she reportedly lost control of the car she was driving, which slammed into a wall. She was later rushed to the hospital in serious condition, and was in a medically induced coma. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries today.

J Capri is known for such hits as “Wine And Kotch”, “Pull Up To My Bumper”, “Reverse It” and recently “Boom And Ben Over".
