Lauryn Hill Joins The Marley Brothers, Wyclef Jean, Sean Paul and More for Kaya Fest

Ms. Lauryn Hill is now part of the exciting line-up for the first ever Kaya Fest. Ms. Hill will be making a special guest appearance. Kaya Fest is being produced by Stephen Marley, an eight time Grammy Award winner, singer, songwriter, musician producer and son of the legend Bob Marley. Presented by Fruit of Life Productions it is scheduled for Saturday, April 22 nd , 2017 / 1PM at Bayfront Park Amphitheatre, 301 Biscayne Blvd. in downtown Miami. Also added on the bill is a performance by Wyclef Jean. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 20 th , 2017 / 10AM at www.livenation.com, all TicketMaster outlets or charge-by- phone at 1-800- 745-3000. General Admission tickets are $80.00, Reserved Seats are $140.00 and VIP Reserved Seats are $200.00. A limited number of VIP Boxes for $300.00 are also available. Performing on stage at the Kaya Fest for the first time together in more than 20 years in Miami will be The Marley Brothers with special features by Ziggy, Stephen, Damian, Ky-Mani and more. Also performing will be Grammy Award-winning Jamaican international superstar Sean Paul and legendary Jamaican Reggae group Inner Circle, with more names to be added later.

Worldwide superstar, Ms. Lauryn Hill, singer, songwriter, rapper, and producer established herself as a creative force on her own. After rising to stardom as a member of the Fugees, a group considered one of the top hip hop acts of all time, she successfully integrated rap, soul, and reggae into a singular sound. Eclectic, uplifting, and empowering, she was often cited by other artists as a touchstone. Her most recent tour the MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling! Concert Series has been playing to sellout crowds around the country. Wyclef Jean has sold over 100 million albums and 20 million singles worldwide. The recipient of three Grammy Awards, Jean was a member of legendary Hip Hop group the Fugees in the 90's, ranking among the top 10 greatest Hip Hop groups of all time by MTV. He has produced award winning hits for artists such as Shakira, Carlos Santana and Whitney Houston, among countless more. The purpose of the Kaya Fest is to educate people to the many uses of the cannabis plant as well as to inspire and encourage positive public awareness especially since more and more states are approving the use of medical marijuana, such as Florida where it just became legal this past year. In addition to the booths of food, crafts and other refreshments at the Festival, there will also be those passing along information highlighting the benefits derived from all aspects of the cannabis plant.
