Renowned Singer-Songwriter Lloyd "Cookie" Willacy Releases "Trendsetta" feat ORi

Following the recent release of his music social commentary with "Tipping Point", the first single from his upcoming debut album "Raining On Mars", renowned singer-songwriter Lloyd "Cookie" Willacy displays his versatility with the follow-up "Trendsetta" feat international recording reggae artist ORieL. An Afar Music Production, this second single displays his ability and maturity as a vocalist, lyricist, guitarist, and composer with so much soul within not only the instruments, but the vocals as well. While "Trendsetta" brings a catchy hook and groovy vibe bringing the listener into Cookie's idea of a trendsetter, " Walk up in the club, so hot! All eyes on you, she’s hot! Backin'up your rude boys, so hot! Up against the wall, she’s hot! Bottoms up So hot! Head down low She’s hot! That's how she flows So hot! That's how she rolls Them a’e trendsetter!", ORieL balances the ante with his own perception, ''she got wisdom you could never find in books, know her history so she's proud of how she looks no matter the shade or spots when she twist her dread locks and she hot inna denim but she hotta inna frock''. By rights both are correct as a Trendsetter is defined as "a person who leads the way in fashion or ideas." Produced by Lloyd "Cookie" Willacy himself along with Oriel Barry and Ludwig Grant, the pop rock reggae infused "Raining on Mars" album is set for release May 2017.
