Hit soca compilation Get Soca 2017 peaked at #5 on the Billboard Top Reggae Albums Chart and has remained in the top 10, ever since its release on February 10, 2017 to now. This is the third edition of the annual compilation from FOX FUSE - the world’s largest soca music label. The flagship, definitive soca collection delivers the top hits of the 2017 carnival season, featuring soca’s biggest hit-makers from across the entire Caribbean, all on one album.
Get Soca 2017 also debuted at #1 on iTunes Reggae Top Albums chart in four countries, including Canada, France, The Netherlands, and Trinidad and Tobago. Every artist, producer, songwriter and music engineer involved in each song on Get Soca 2017 can now add Billboard and iTunes chart-toppers to their resumes and musical history.
“We’re happy for the success of the album as it directly translates to success for each composer, songwriter and artist on the album,” state Rhona Fox and Zack Cohen, owners of FOX FUSE and curators of the Get Soca franchise. “We’re so honored to bring quality Caribbean music to the global audience and see this exciting genre be competitive and have staying power, as Get Soca 2017 continues to prove.”
