Popeye Caution #BussDiDance

Popeye Caution recently released a dancehall version to DJ Khaled & Rihanna’s “Wild Thoughts” record. The song pays homage to dances that legendary dancer, Bogle, created and populated. Dances like the LOI and ZIP-IT-UP were highlighted on the record. Popeye states “I heard the record, which is a newer version of Santana’s Maria Maria, and automatically knew we had to take it back to dancing”. The record calls for listeners to have fun with some of the dances we loved “when dancehall was nice”.

#BussDiDance was brought to life through an impromptu video shoot at KeyHouse Studios in Lauderdale Lakes, FL. Popeye Caution invited family and friends to be apart of this fun video. Popeye’s manager, Uncle Rawwn, mentioned that “The video was fun, we took it back to dancing and let Popeye along with his friends put together a memorable shoot. Bogle has to be smiling down on Popeye”. #BussDiDance was directed and shot by BassTO of Any Day Now Films – a Miami-based film company. You can view the film on YouTube and download the record for free on soundcloud.com
