The First Lady Of Dancehall, D’Angel teamed up with The Queen Of Stage, Spice and created a viral hit, “No Worries”.
The single which was released on the “Money Mix” rhythm compilation by Good Good Production made its way into digital stores in April.
“I got the rhythm and I instantly felt the collaboration with Spice. We got together, Snowcone gave us the idea and we just made it happened”, said D’Angel.
“The single took off on a next level, instantly it was shared, reposted, tweeted by females all over the world. No worries is an anthem right now and it gives me pleasure to see my work doing well”, shared Spice.
After being featured on multiple major media platforms, the two decided to shoot the video for the song.
The video was premiered on OnStage last Saturday before making its way to VEVO.
After being uploaded to VEVO, the visuals garnered over 100,000 views in 24 hoursmaking it the #2 trending video on YouTube.
“The anticipation for the video was too much; the fans couldn’t wait another minute for the video to drop. The idea behind the video was to create a feel good vibe when it’s being watched and to empower women just as the song is indented” D’Angel explained.
“We wanted to show fans that there is a lot to smile about in life, no matter what the circumstances are and the chemistry in the video just eases the mind of anyone who watches it. Pamputtae came on board and she can be seen being herself and enjoying every bit of the song in the video. The director, Jahdean Van Gogh, captured every moment perfectly”, she continued.
The single is dubbed as billboard potential and is seen making its way onto international charts in coming months.
