Ashley Lashley was crowned Miss Barbados World 2018, at the grand finale held at Barbados Concorde Experience.
The 18 year old student beat out six contestants to represent her country in China later this year. She will be Barbados' first delegate at the contest since 2014.
A former Miss Teen Barbados, Ashley is the daughter of former parliamentarian Hamilton Lashley and Joycelyn Brathwaite.
