Jack Dunn "Taking Ova Nova"

Born John Ulen Dunn on July 18th 1995 in Washington D.C. and raised in McLean, Virginia; Jack Dunn grew up in an untypical McLean household with his one older sibling Barbara Dunn and his two parents, Bill and Paige Dunn.

An avid music lover from a young age, Jack grew up constantly surrounding himself with music, and those who enjoyed it as thoroughly as he did. At the age of 8 he began taking piano lessons for about a year until he wanted to branch out into different instruments. He began learning how to play both the Bass and acoustic guitars while still practicing Piano on the side.

Jack began writing his own music at the age of 13 around the time when he discovered his sisters increasingly severe drug problems. With Barbara in and out of different rehabilitation centers, Jack found himself suffering from depression and in need of an outlet. Although as a child Jacks music taste mainly gravitated towards classic rock, Alternative rock and pop (The Beatles, The Eagles, Michael Jackson, Green Day, etc.), Jack had always had an interest in whatever Hip-Hop music he could get his hands on (Eminem, Nas, Jay-Z, 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., etc.), as he was always interested in the song writing process and knew that no songwriters were more technical than top tier lyric-oriented rappers.

Starting out writing on his own as a form of stress relief at the age of 13, Jack later began writing more seriously around the age of 15 in pursuit of turning his once hobby, into a thriving career. Since 15 Jack has pushed his limits day in and day out in an attempt to mold himself into what he considers to be a successful and respectable artist. From competitions out in Los Angeles, to shows all around the DMV, Jack Dunn is constantly out there working, writing, and making more material.

As of now Jack Dunn is teamed up with Woodz Ent. and Streamway Music Group. They've all been hard at work for the past two years both in and out of the recording studio striving for success in the music industry. What separates this team from other "on the come up" groups, is the difference in aspirations, they're not solely in it for money, fame, or bragging rights. They have an intense passion for music and the progression of it as an art form.

Jack aspires to leave an imprint on music history and bring positive change into the lives of his listeners (even if it's only one person). Productivity over partying is Jack's motto, so don't be surprised if he's working while you're reading this, that's just the kind of man he is.
