The media release has confirmed the attendance of some exciting guests, including renowned twin duo Pros and Cons Cosplay, the talented Carolina Ravassa, and the versatile Sean Chiplock. Fans can expect an exciting lineup of events and panels throughout the expo.

Pros and Cons Cosplay, known for their impressive costume creations, will host a captivating "Cosplay Horror Stories" panel during the opening ceremony on Friday. Additionally, they will be the judges for the thrilling Cosplay Masquerade, scheduled for Sunday.

International cosplayers Yaya Han, CowbuttCrunchies, Shema Arroyo, Inspector Lemon, and Akrcos will grace the event as judges for the Caribbean Cosplay Championships. This unique hybrid event has drawn participants from various countries across the region, including Panama, Dominican Republic, The Bahamas, and Barbados, among others.

Carolina Ravassa, recognized for her iconic roles as Sombra in Overwatch and Raze in Valorant, will be present at the expo. Alongside her will be Sean Chiplock, renowned for his impressive voice work as Diluc in Genshin Impact, as well as Revali, Teba, and the Great Deku Tree in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The theme for this year's expo is "Rise of the Dragon," promising a memorable and immersive experience for all attendees. The festivities will kick off with a colorful parade in Port of Spain on Friday at 12 noon, followed by the official opening ceremony at Nalis on Abercromby Street.

Met Cosplay Gala

Throughout Saturday and Sunday, the action-packed event will move to the Centre of Excellence in Macoya, offering a delightful array of activities for anime, gaming, cosplay, and music enthusiasts.

Attendees can look forward to the Met Cosplay Gala, themed "Dreams and Nightmares," as well as a K-Pop festival featuring talented local performers. To top it all off, the after-party will feature the first live soca performance since the festival's inception in 2011, starring the sensational Iwer George.

In keeping with the "Rise of the Dragon" theme, Alias Entertainment has partnered with Lyfe Fitness to present the thrilling "House of the Flying Dragons." This collaboration will showcase aerial arts, pole dancing, bungee exercises, and acrobatic performances at the gala.

The Alias brand has come a long way since its inception in 2011 as a cosplay party and has now blossomed into the region's most significant expo of its kind. Emphasizing anime, comic books, cosplay, and gaming, the expo provides a vibrant community space for fans to connect and learn from each other.

The driving force behind this incredible event, known by her cosplay name Panterona, expressed her passion for bringing the experiences she encountered abroad back to Trinidad and Tobago. Her primary goal is to foster a thriving community and market for events like this in TT.
