Caribbean Consensus Launches Weekly US$250 Challenge

A new interactive competition is putting Caribbean knowledge to the test. Caribbean Consensus will officially launch its first weekly challenge on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 7:00 PM AST, introducing a new platform designed to encourage greater awareness and appreciation of the Caribbean, its people, culture, history, geography and islands.
Promoted under the question “What’s the Consensus?”, Caribbean Consensus aims to turn learning about the region into an engaging competitive experience. The initiative will feature new challenges each week, giving participants an opportunity to demonstrate their Caribbean knowledge while learning more about the diverse countries, communities and cultures that make up the region.
The inaugural challenge will also introduce a competitive incentive: a US$250 cash prize.
Organizers describe Caribbean Consensus as an initiative created to promote greater knowledge and appreciation of the Caribbean region. Rather than focusing on a single island or cultural tradition, the concept is intended to explore the wider Caribbean experience, including its geography, history, personalities and cultural identity.
