How to Make Crispy Fried Chicken Wings with an Air fryer

The air fryer takes cooking to a whole new level, making everything easier and faster. These Air Fryer Chicken Wings not only take a fraction of the time it takes to bake chicken wings, but they also get so crispy that you'll swear they're fried.

The key to the crispiest Air Fryer Chicken Wings is a little baking powder or cornstarch.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken Wings (If you have full wings, separate them into drums and flat)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp salt (salt to taste)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp all purpose seasoning

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tsp smoked paprika

  • 2 tbsp. corn cornstarch or baking powder ( or you can mix both equally)

*** You are free to use your favorite seasonings***

Instructions

  • Pat the chicken wings completely dry

  • Place the wings and combine all the seasoning together including olive oil

  • Heat the air fryer to 360-400 F degrees for 2 minutes

  • Cook the chicken wing in batches (they should NOT be touching) for 20-25 minutes turning once halfway through cooking. Some air fryers will alert you when you need to turn. Therefore, after the timer goes off, open and carefully flip over the chicken wings.
