Suspect Identified and Charged After Shots Fired at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills Mansion

A woman has been identified and charged following a shocking shooting incident at the Beverly Hills home of global music superstar Rihanna on Sunday afternoon.
Authorities say 35-year-old Ivana Ortiz has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly firing multiple rounds at the singer’s residence while she was inside the home.
Incident at the Beverly Hills Residence
According to police reports, the incident occurred between 1:15 p.m. and 1:21 p.m. in the 9500 block of Heather Road in the Beverly Crest area of Los Angeles.
Investigators say the suspect allegedly fired seven to ten rounds from a vehicle, reportedly a white Tesla, using an AR-15-style rifle.
Several bullets struck the exterior of the mansion, and at least one round reportedly penetrated a wall of the home. Another vehicle parked outside the residence was also hit during the shooting.
Despite the frightening situation, authorities confirmed that Rihanna was inside the home at the time of the incident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and everyone inside the residence was safe.
Arrest and Charges
Police quickly responded to the scene and took Ortiz into custody shortly after the shooting. She has since been formally charged with attempted murder, and her bail has been set at $10.225 million.
Law enforcement officials have not yet disclosed a motive for the alleged attack, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Ongoing Investigation
Authorities continue to gather evidence and review surveillance footage from the area as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
It also remains unclear whether Rihanna’s partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, or their children were present at the time of the incident.
The disturbing event has sparked concern among fans worldwide, many of whom have expressed relief that the singer and her family were unharmed.
Police have not released additional details as the case moves forward through the legal system.
