Angela Yee Day was officially declared by New York Mayor Bill de Blasio on August 28th, and she celebrates by paying homage to her Caribbean and Brooklyn roots.
Hosted by Angela Yee and iHeartMedia New York, the day of celebration takes place at Restoration Plaza, New York this Saturday. The event will feature live performances from hip-hop and Caribbean artists Naomi Cowan, Shaneil Muir, Noah Powa, HoodCelebrityy, Romain Virgo, Adrian Marcel, Erick the Architect, Capella Grey, and Alison Hinds, among others.
The outdoor community event is free and open to everyone of all ages, so come eat, drink, and celebrate! Chick-fil-A, Drink Fresh Juice, Miss Jessie's, and others will be among the day's sponsors.
The festivities will begin at 12 p.m., with Angela Yee providing an official welcome at 12:30 p.m. The performances will take place between 1:30 and 4:15 p.m., and the event will conclude at 5 p.m. with Yee's closing remarks.
The festivities is going down on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 from 12 PM to 5 PM at the Restoration Plaza in Brooklyn.
