I’m a 53-year-old man, and I have a wife who is 28 years old. It’s a long story, but I’ll try to make it brief. My male cousin had a bad divorce, and he needed somewhere to stay, so my wife and I let him stay with us. That was the worst mistake I made.
I work as an engineer, and my wife stays home. My brother also works. My older neighbor told me a few months ago that sometimes during the day she could hear loud noises coming from my house. At the time, I didn’t question her, as I thought she was being nosy.
Fast-forward to last week: I had to come home early as I needed some documents for work that I left at home. I drove up to my home and realized the cousin's car was home, and I thought to myself that he may not have gone to work, as I leave for work early in the mornings.
I opened the front door. Mind you, the alarm notifies you when a door is open. I called my wife, and there was no answer. As I was walking up the stairs, I could hear a sound that kept getting louder and louder as I moved to my bedroom.
As I entered the last step of the stairs, I glanced and saw a naked male standing next to the bed; the door was wide open. At this time, I was not even thinking it was my cousin. Let's just say the next moments are a blur, like some bizarre dream. but I do remember, after running into the room, seeing my naked wife on the bed with legs wrapped around a male who is my cousin.
From the police report, as I told them, I knocked my cousin unconscious, and my wife is not sure what I did to her. My neighbor told me she had to call the cops because of the amount of noise coming from the home.
I have not heard or seen my soon-to-be ex-wife since, and my low-down cousin keeps calling, asking for forgiveness.
